Braigen's Busy Monday!!!

Monday started with Braigen and her daddy going on a field trip with her class to Desoto Caverns. Her daddy hasn't been able to go on any of the other field trips because of work so this being their last one he decided to go,(he had to pick the best one..lol). Braigen said they had a blast, they were able to go on a cave tour, go through a maze, go panning for gems, have cannon wars, and a train ride!! After she did all that she was able to go buy something from the gift shop, where she bought her a hard hat with a light (pink of course), and she said she didn't want Brody to be upset that he wasn't able to go so she bought him an Indian drum (such a sweet big sis). Robby said she was wore out!! She slept the whole way home, and for those of you who know Braigen, she just doesn't sleep like that, so he must have been tired!!

When they got home they just had a few minutes to rest and eat before we had to get ready for her ball game at Fultondale. They did AWESOME!! I don't know what got into those kids, but they all did good, especially since it was 30 degrees outside!!!! It was all we could do to keep warm. We have been asking Braigen after every game, "why don't you run like you do when you're running after Hailey?" We just couldn't figure out why she was just jogging around the bases. OK time to brag... Well Monday night she put those feet into action!! Probably because she was trying to keep warm, but hey she did it!! She even had a home run!!!! After the game was over she asked me "mommy why were you jumping up and down and banging on the fence saying GO BRAIGEN GO?" Because I was so excited!!! They all did really good, hope we can keep it up!

Brody Goes Free Agent After One Inning!! LOL

Thursday night Brody had he's first game!! Well he made it the first inning until he starting crying and wanting to get off the field!! Brody wants to play one on one with daddy, and let me tell you he's really good, but when it comes to playing as a team he just doesn't have the attention span to do it, I have to remind myself he is only 2 1/2!! He loves to hit the ball but after that first time up to bat he is done!


So needless to say, I went and told the woman who is over the ballpark that he would not be playing anymore this year. I'm probably still gonna have his pictures made because he's just so cute in that uniform!!!

Braigen's First 2 Games

Braigen had her first two games this weekend! It was so much fun!!! I have to first of all say a big thank you to Chad for being such a big help!! Braigen listens to Chad better than she does Robby...lol. Friday night they played Corner...big loss...31-5: but on Saturday they won against Morris 23-15...yea!!!
I have to say it's a lot more fun than I expected. She is doing really good and I know the best is yet to come!

Our Busy Weekend!!

Ok I know I'm a few days late but we had a great but busy Easter. Our Easter activities started on Friday and ended Sunday night, needless to say we all were worn out, but we got to spend time with each of our families and it was great.
The kids were able to dye eggs , not just one time but three times, Friday at my moms house, Friday night at my dads house then Saturday morning at my mother in laws.
We also were able to eat a lot this weekend too! Saturday we ate lunch with my dad, it was so gooood! Sunday after church we ate lunch with my mom, delicious, then Sunday we ate dinner with my in laws!!! We were running back and forth all weekend but it was well worth it. In all the madness I was able to get a few pictures....

Brody's First Practice!!

Brody had his first practice tonight, it was the funniest thing I have seen in a very long time! Brody is a very good hitter, but he doesn't care to much about being out in the field running after the balls. He kept on running off the field to go play with Braigen and Caleb, and we would have to bribe him to come back onto the field




Sorry I wasn't able to get pictures of Braigen's practice yet, because I'm busy chasing after her brother, but I have tons of pictures from her playing last year so I guess it works out.
